I know there was a way to set an option to allow a user to dial a phone number without having to pick up the handset first on older systems. Is there a way to do this on the newer systems (MICS 6.1)? If so, how? Thanks in advance.

yes ...detailed in the feature card of the mics system

F*82 then select autodial. In order for this function to work you must have a prime line programed to that phone. Good luck....
