I upgraded from XP home - edition to XP Pro, and now my netscape doesn't find my modem (on COM3) even though it is enabled and queries. My device Mnger only shows COM1 and LPT ports. It is a windows compatible modem with up to date drivers and worked well in XP Home. But I don't have a home edition disk to go back to it.

. Have you yet applied at least Service Pack 1 to this upgrade?
