I have Corel Photo Paint 8 for the Mac. I publish a magazine and need to edit my images for my prepress people. Currently they set my target values for my tiff files (photos) but if I could do this it would save me some $$$!
They use PhotoShop and say I can't do this sort of thing with PhotoPaint. I am sure it can be done, but cannot figure out where to go, what dialogue box to use. None of my tutorial books show where to go to do this.
I scan all my photos directly into PhotoPaint from my scanner software at 225dpi and already scaled for use in the publication. Now if I could find the window/dialogue box that would allow me to define and set my black and white target values (95% black and 3% white) and then pick them in the photo image, I'd be set.
Can this be done in PhotoPaint? Where? How? All answers are greatly appreciated. Thanks very much.
