B&W film with colour objects (How is this done)

I use Premiere to edit video. I have seen a technique that has a black & white film and they have an object in the film coloured. For example ..The whole film is B&W but the person may have a flower on that is coloured?

How is this done, or if someone can point me in the right direction.
