Hey guys, I am totally new in Extreme Networks and never heard about an Access-mask. Can somebody please explain the purpose and meaning of an access-mask ? Helpfull links ?

Its my task to copy ACL from an older Summit to a new one, but the syntax has changed.

I tried this:
create access-mask chris
create access-list test001 chris dest-ip 129.105.29.128/26 source-ip 139.24.192.100/32 permit

ERROR: ACL: Entry test001 has fields that does not match with the fiel
ss-mask chris.
ERROR: ACL: Cannot add rule test001 (reason: validation failed).

I just dont get it and the Manual doesnt help a lot.
