Anyone point me in the right direction. Trying to setup hunt group that will call list of external numbers. Set up dummy extension for each external number and calling the dummy extension number correctly calls the external number (call forwarding set to unconditional on the dummy extension).
E.g. Extn 701 Unconditional forwarding to 07789 xxxxxx - dialing extn 701 correctly calls the mobile number 07789 xxxxxx.
However when this dummy extension is attached to a new call group, dialing the group number does not call the external number.
E.g. Call Group 689 setup with only user in list 701 (which is ticked), dialing 689 rings out (as voice mail is not enabled for the group)
Obviously missing something simple....
Have disabled voice mail on the dummy extensions and on the call group. Can't see anything else obvious.
Setting up the 701 dummy extension to forward to an internal extension and adding it to the call group works.
E.g. Extn 701 Unconditional forwarding to 308 and add 701 to the 689 call group, dialing 689 correctly rings 308.
It appears that when the number to forward to is external (land line or mobile) then the forwarding (via the call group) does not work although when you dial the dummy extension directly it does.
