have you used the axSpreadsheet.get_Range method? i dont know how to use it. i have an axSpreadsheet widget on my form, it's lovelly. i don't know how it wants the cell positions passing to it, and i don't know what data type it returns (an array of floats would be nice). a code example would be appreciated.

update: okay, it returns an OWC.Range. but i can't find a method to get the floats out i'm looking for. the best i can find is OWC.Range.ToString(), but it only ever returns "System.__ComObject"; but maybe that's because i don't know what to pass axSpreadsheet.get_Range (i actually passed it "a1", "a10" - but i don't think it wants strings).

Uhh, what is axSpreadsheet?

Is it a commercial product?

don't you have it chiph? do you have vs.net 2003? if not, i probably got it as part of that. i haven't got anything else special. it's basicly a stripped down excel sheet - which will save me lots of time over the coming months.

That explains it - I'm still on the old version.
Sorry for the confusion.
