awt.textArea firePropertyChange()

Hi,

I wish to disable the horizontal scrollbars to get word wrapping but cannot get the textArea to respond

navigator is the JavaScript id assigned to a javabean:java.awt.textArea and the same syntax works for other methods so I'm assuming I got the java command is wrong.

This was my last attempt, another failure.

document.navigator.firePropertyChange(scrollbars,SCROLLBARS_BOTH,SCROLLBARS_VERTICAL_ONLY);

I just read that it may be platform dependent!?!

*pause, blank stare*

If that is the case, I do hereby announce that I formally associate every bad word under the sun with their pointless flatform-dependent language.
