Ive got AWstats installed no problem and update via the cgi web interface.

My problem is that stats are not being collected. I have new data in my log file. Its just not seen by AWstats.

Make sure your log format specification in your config file matches what your machine collects. If it doesn't it will not process correctly

it reads from all the old records in the access.log.

since march it is not pulling the stats out of the log.

is there a file size limit on those apache logs?

-Dave

i think i have the cause of my problem.

it seems in early march( 3rd to be exact)the number of unique hits is drastically reduced because form some reason apache thinks all http requests are coming through one IP address. It is the address of our dns server.

now im stumped as top why the sudden change.
