AWR Column Definitions

I have a Director wanting to know what the column definitions are in a AWR Report for "WAIT EVENTS".
I have explained ,,,, BUT he would like the ORACLE definition.
I have been looking for them but have not been able to find any document that explains each column.
These are the columns:
Waits, Total Wait Time, Waits/txn

I Googled "Oracle wait events total_waits" and looked for a source from Oracle. This led me to

which explains waits as well as defining the columns in the relevant views. I don't know how your report is written, but I suspect it is based on V$SYSTEM_EVENT. The explanation for this view will hopefully satisfy your director.
