I am in dire need of help. I have an E-commerce site that was developed by a software company. They did not implement AVS. I have written the code as I think it should work. However, I have some questions about passing the information to linkpoint and parsing strings, etc. I need to get this done tonight. Anyone who has experience with LinkPoint, please contact me. The linkpoint support engineers are not available on the weekends.

One of the questions I have is the following:

When using avs with linkpoint, only the numeric portion of the address should be sent apparently. Does it have to be an integer? Does anyone know how I can parse out the numeric portion? I'm using php and I don't see a good string function to do this. I'm assuming that I will have to parse to the first alphabetic character and not just a space. This is because some addresses are strings such as "5730B" or "115-A".

I do not know - but Linkpoint Level one support is available & they should be able to answer it.

I am just actually trying to remember when I saw an address like this - usually I see 5730 Main St, Apt B, etc
