Hi,

I have built up a site which I want to save as a template and use on another server. The site includes links to files that are stored in the site.

When I create the template and use it on another server, the links no longer work as the pathname includes the original server name.

Is there a way to use relative links so that I don't have to fix all the links each time I use the template on a new server?

Thanks!

All my sites are located at so I use /sites/sitename/page or filename. eg I have a site called benefits that uses the image webpart, in the url for the image in the image webpart I put /sites/benefits/BenefitsImg/benefits.jpg

basically starting with a forward slash automatically prefixes it with the servername. Someone on this forum gave me this tip before so credit to them. :)
