Hi All,

I need one help from your part. I need to run a perl script in backend.
So I configured to run in windows Scheduled Tasks and it worked fine.
But every time the job starts, a "blank screen" the dos command window pops up..

How can we avoid this "blank screen". It should not pop up.. I need to run it like a
service or so as WINDOWS starts up.

Please help..Also suggest is there any other alternative way to do this.
I am using windows environment

I tired these options
start "Mailer" perl "C:\Documents and Settings\u11583\Desktop\study\perl\code\slp.pl" /B /MIN

Note:The purpose of this task is to check database and need to send mails every 30 minutes.
