I am looking for a way to suppress a subtotal when there is only one detail line, avoiding the same subtotal as the detail amount and making the report much shorter.

Any ideas?

You will need to create a subtotal that counts the records in each group and use this subtotal in a formula in the suppress condtion:

subtotal = 1

You can either suppress the subtotal field itself or the entire section (GH or GF) that is it sitting in. Format either the field or section and use the conditon button next to the 'suppress' option. Put in the formula above
