Avoid Report going onto Separate Window on Drill-Thru

Does anyone know how to prevent a openin a new window when you try to drillthru a report? Idea here is to provide the users ability to drill within the same report without creating a new session.

We are using MicroStrategy 8

Web or Desktop? I thought Web does this by default.

I agree. My web jsp and asp interface does this automatically [MSTR 7.5.1].

Are you using api's ?

there would be some setting in the preferences for web. did you verify if they have been set appropriately.
