Hi,

I'm using CR XI and CR Server and a Teradata database.

I have three related questions...

1)
I have a published report that is creating an Excel output file on unmanaged disk. If this report runs and returns 0 rows I don't want the file to be created at all. Is there a way to do this?

2)
I have a published report that is emailing out an Excel output file. If this report runs and returns 0 rows I don't want an email to be sent out. Is there a way to do this?

3)
I have a published report with parameters. Five different versions of this report are scheduled each with a different parameter setting. The output format for each published instance is Excel and the output for each instance is emailed out (difference recipients for each scheduled instance). If any of these instances run and return 0 rows I don't want the email to be sent. Is there a way to do this?

Thanks in advance - I've searched around and can't find anything.

I don't know how this would be done in CE (looks like you are receiving no answers in that direction).

However, at least one of the 3rd-party Report Managers listed at: can do this easily (a setting indicating scheduled processing should be aborted if zero records are found).
