avi & mpeg movies with flesh?

hello, my friends.
i need to make a presantation in flash, that will involve movies in the avi or mpeg formats inside the flash movie. does anyone knows how to make it work?

I'm not quit sure but i beleave u need to use mov file format

and how? just import it to the stage?
and what about streaming video, this sould be in mpeg, no?
