Hi all,

I have a customer who has 10 licenses within a Network Edition of AVG. They have several new PC's and therefore require 2 more licenses.

Is it possible to simply purchase 2 new licenses of the Network Edition Product and add these to the existing licenses?

I am concerned it will directly replace the existing licenses.

Thanks.

Have you tried asking Grisoft directly? My guess is that they would provide the best answer on that, being its there product, and that's more of a licensing issue..

Well, if they are that sorry for a paying client, I'd just go elsewhere with the new machines for sure, assuming that's an option... or else transfer to a new provider all together.

I agree but the customers 10 licences doesn't expire till Dec 09.

This morning I took a gamble and purchased 2 version 8.0 Network Edition Licenses, they went straight onto the new machines without a problem.

Thanks.

I bought mine from a distibutor/reseller instead of direct from Grisoft. Through my reseller, Walling Data Systems, which is one of the resellers Grisoft list on their web-site, they offer me very good support. I also had the option to purchase 24x7 support from them as well. Where I am limited to email support with Grisoft, which I can still do; I get email, online chat, remote assistance, and telephone support. They even remoted in when I was ready to do my install and did most of it for me for no extra charge (I did buy 1500 licences though).
