I seem to be having a problem with AVG. I hope this is in the right section -/).
I am currently running Windows 7 Professional x64, and have AVG ISSBS 9.0 installed as my complete "anti-virus". Here is my problem, I have scans scheduled daily at 7:00am, and they just DO NOT run at their scheduled time. They begin when I bring the computer out of screensaver mode, and begin using the computer.
I have all the "advanced power settings" changed in the OS to not allow, sleep, hybrid sleep, hard drive off, low power mode, etc... (ALWAYS ON, period, end of story) I also have AVG set to run the scans even if the computer is in low power mode. Essentially with those settings, the scans should take place, and I should be none the wiser right? Wrong.
Am I missing some hidden setting in the OS, that allows the screensaver to essentially "lock" the computer? Even though all the settings point it to not "lock"?
Thanks ahead of time for all the help everyone.
