AVG Free Build 233 update issues

On reading the AVG Free support forum there are numerous issues reported with the latest program build (Build 233). Apparently this build is being rolled out slowly so that could be why I haven't been affected yet. I'm still running on build 176.

Hopefully AVG will fix the bugs caused by the new build before it rolls it out to any more computers.

I had a problem after this update,
Real time scanner was inoperative after first re-boot a second reboot seems to have sorted it out.
Though on the second re-start I got a 'Windows has recovered from a serious error' message!

Reading through the list of 'improvements' it seems somethings have been done to address slow scanning.
I will try a full scan.
This normally takes about 7 Hours on my P4 2MHZ machine!!
