Hi,
Before I get involved in the long winded troubleshooting that happens with AVG, I was wondering whether anyone else has had these problems I'm getting.
A lot of my workstations (WinXP Professional and Windows 2000) in the last couple of days, are not getting connected to the LAN and the Internet and have I have to disable the firewall to get online.
There is an FAQ entry relating to a problem with the 8.0.196 update.
I have tried the fixfiles.exe fix and that did not do fix it. I still consistently get:
Profile / Conflict
Computer in domain
Application: Various System Services
when I run the Firewall configuration wizard on the workstation. When I look in the settings I cannot work out which of the Various System Services are causing the problem. All I know is that it used to work before the update!
Anyone with a network experience this lately and did you have to do anything special to get it working?
Thanks
Dan
