Average line on bar chart?? Crystal 8.0

I have a bar chart which displays the average for each individual- now I want to display an average line for the group. It's simply a straight line. I can do this for line charts but cant seem to do it for bar charts (as requested by user) Anyone know if there is such a chart within crystal or where I could download a chart like this. Thanks!!

Wow, what a painful process, alomost as cumbersome as Excel's method.

After you've insert the chart, right click on it and choose Chart Analyzer. Once that open, click on one of the bars in your chart to select the data series. Now right click on the same bar. Select Curve Fit and Stat Lines. At the top of the list in "Mean" choose that and then click the ">" button to move it to the "Show curve" box.
