Average error rates for tape?

I have checked the logs and have the following results for errors.

I am averaging 3578 soft write errors per tape. It also appears I have a steady, but much smaller number of soft read errors.

Here are my overall lifetime stats.

8.10 TB written
7.72 TB read
527 mounts
9189 seeks
2220.6 hours in use
seek error 0
soft read errors 1816
hard read errors 1
soft write errors 84733
hard write errors 4

Should I be concerned with this number of soft write errors?
I recently ran the cleaning tape and the error rate seems the same.
