Avaya Workplace Public IP

Hi,

Recently i buy some licenses (power user) to make calls from the cell phone.

To make calls from outside i have two solutions, an VPN or configure an public IP in NAT (I don´t want VPN).

How i configure the public IP in Avaya IP Office 500?

Any can help me?

Only open your IPO to the public internet if you know what you are doing. Do it incorrectly and you run the risk of doing a follow up post asking for help in stopping huge phone bills.

I will see if the public ip it is the best solution.

Anyone know why avaya workplace on iphone has connection problems. When I enter the user id and password it turns on, if I log off and log back in it says that the user id and password are invalid.

Anybody knows why?

Have you read the manual and followed the steps? Do you have a FQDN? Do you have splitDNS setup? How are the users setup?

The fact that you are simply throwing your system on a public IP and calling it a day you are going to have much bigger problems and soon I guarantee it.

The truth is just an excuse for lack of imagination.
