Avaya Workplace Client - How to show keypad for an active call

We have many users that are confused when checking voicemail because the keypad for the active call is not visible. Does anyone know of a setting where when your on an active call and have to enter digits the dailpad is displayed without selecting the keypad icon.

Sounds like this should be a GRIP request for a new feature.
Should be something like a parameter in the 46xxsettings.txt file to activate the keypad when dialing a specific number list.
