Is the new Avaya Softphone supposed to work on R10 UCM with presence? I can get the softphone users to login but keep getting presence server not available. Have set FQDNs and everything up correctly as I have set this up many times in the past.
This concequently means I cannot log the web based Communicator in meaning I cannot use the SFDC functionality.

Cant advise on the UCM part as we just do not use them. But you can use web communicator without the presence server being entered, ie just enter the media server and it will work as a controller or phone but without any presence.

You can't use Communicator for Web on UCM as it doesn't have WebRTC, you'll need Application Server for that.
