Hello all,
I have a new Avaya WAP9103. Out of the box it should be broadcasting it's avaya SSID. I tried everything that I can but it does not seem to be doing this properly. The configuration looks perfect but none of my devices see any SSIDs I create or enable or modify. I gave some a valid DHCP pool to use, connected to an existing LAN,... nothing. Please help.

IIRC the SSID is active but the radios are not. You can enable them and chose whether to use 2,4GHz or 5GHz per Radio.

Hey Lord - definitely try what derfloh said - by default the radios are off and you will need to go into the radios menu and configure and enable them (2.4/5 and operating mode).

I've deployed several of the 9100 series and would also recommend you use the trial version of WOS - Wireless Orchestration System to configure and monitor the AP's. You can download from support.avaya.com and use it for 30 days before it requires a license key.

Let me know if you still cant get it up and running! Like I said, i've deployed lots of these AP's and sometimes the Web Management system can be a little tricky to navigate.
