Avaya Visual Messenger

Hi new user.....

Does anyone have a copy of the above software. Our server crashed with all backup data lost and now Avaya don't support the product, so I'm a bit stuck....

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

What version of Visual Messenger? Visual Messenger software is included on the Octel Access Server CD (at least on V3.0 and V4.0). You can still buy the Octel Access software.

Just FYI Avaya does support it so if someone told you they donot they are wrong. We run into that all the time as most Avaya people know very little about Octel.
You can buy an upgrade or your vender should be able to get you a CD.

If not let me know. What software level are you at on the Octel?

Yes, I would check with your vendor first. Since the Visual Messenger is on the Octel Access Server CD with all the OAS software,the cost is $3500.00 list price for version 4. The OAS CD has an install program for the Visual Messenger software. The size of the VM software is about 40M so it isn't something easily emailed.
