I'm getting a busy for my fax number when calling in. I have a t1, but cannot get it to ring. I've tried changing it's incoming call route. Any other suggestions?

Is this is a true T1 or a PRI?

If this a PRI make sure of the digits being sent.
Have you monitored the incoming calls?
If there is a AA make sure you have F inserted for fax...

it's a PRI. I've tried moving it to another extension, but still getting busy tone. AA not being used

Firts things first, can you ring it internally? If so have you pointed the Incoming call route to another working extn?

I saved the configuration and rebooted the system. Problem fixed. Thanks to all.
