Avaya to Nortel

I'm in the process of trying to configure our S8710 to talk to our Nortel Succession 1000. I have the doc. Configuring Avaya Communication Manager for H.323 Sigaling and IP Trunks with Nortel Succession 1000 -Issue 1.0

I'm having trouble getting the trunk-group to come up. If someone might have any ideas or think of something I might need to know about please I would like to have some advise.
