I use a terminal emulator where I'm able to map keys to emulate the 4410 keyboard, so inputting information and scrolling, etc. are fine. The file captures, however, aren't formatted properly, columns of information don't line up. Procomm works well for this purpose, but isn't my program of choice. It's interesting to me that Procomm doesn't seem to apply an incoming translation table to get correctly formatted screen captures.
Is there any incoming translation scheme I can use to correct this?
Thanks.

ASA captures screens in pdf format and .csv format for excel

For some automated tasks I prefer a different emulator where I can write scripts. The capture files don't have the correct column spacing (missing tabs?). Procomm manages to format the output correctly, there must be a translation in there somewhere. But it doesn't support SSH, so for some sites I can't use it.
Thanks.

putty works well for logging to a file and ssh, telnet, configuring ports, etc.

Avaya Terminal Emulator and CMS Terminal Emulator also work well with ssh and telnet, downloaded function keys, but are lacking when it comes to screen capture.
