Hi Team

Any idea what Nectar Monitoring solution uses for capturing Alerts on Avaya Systems? Is it only SNMP traps ?

I believe so. It may also be able to poll. Still, more of the state-level stuff is exposed through rest APIs. LayerX can show you a dashboard with the status of all your SIP entity links for example.

Depending on the level of system access you have, you can probably syslog things too. Just depends what you're trying to get.

It also gets the RTCP stream back from the sets so it can show you paths and MOS and quite a few other things. It's somewhat impressive for what It can show you but pretty arcane to create dashboards and keep up with it being properly configured.
