Afternoon!

I wanted to create a user to have only "Read-Only" status in the System Status monitor for the IP500. I looked through the security settings and played around with the security administration.

- Create new "Service User"
- created new user
- assigned that user to "System Status Group"

"System Status" tab on the "Rights Group".
- I gave System Status Access, was able to disconnect calls, shutdown etc etc.
- Tried read all configuration and System Control the same controls as above.

Is this possible to locked down a user in the system status portion?

Thanks!

Cut & Paste (look at the bottom line)

These settings are displayed when icon large security rights group Rights Groups is selected in the navigation pane. This tab sets whether members of the group can access the system using the System Status Application (SSA). That application is only supported by IP Office 4.0 and higher systems.
• System Status Access
If selected, members of the Rights Group can view the system's current status and resources using the System Status Application (SSA).
• Read all configuration
The System Status application includes tools to take a snapshot of the system for use by Avaya for diagnostics. That snapshot can include a full copy of the system's configuration settings. This setting must be enabled for the SSA user to include a copy of the configuration in the snapshot.
• System Control:
If enabled, the SSA user is able to use SSA to initiate system shutdowns and memory card shutdown/restarts.
