Hello,
I need to pull the call flows/vector call flows from Avaya System Manager. The only thing I can find is Bulk exporting and that doesn't show anything I'm looking for. Does anyone know how to achieve this using System Manager and could you please provided step by step instructions? We are moving to a new UC platform & the new provider is requesting this info.

Note: We don't have anything like the Visual Vectors app.

Thank you in advance for your help.

Do you have access to Avaya System Administration (ASA)? You can do a list vector command and it will list all the vector call flows. You can also do a list vdn command which will list all your VDN numbers and the vector they are directed to. You can't export from here but you could take screenshots.

I think the best way is to use ASA and use Reports to combine all your vectors into one text file.

In ASA go under Advanced and use Report. This will bring up a little window where you can type in a command or use the dropdown menu to select one.
It's in this window that you type the multiple commands. You can separate commands with semicolons: "display vector 1; display vector 2" (no quotes). Try two or three commands until you get it right.

You then have three options: Screen Capture to a printer, Export screen capture to file, or Export fields to file. Select "Export screen capture to file" to open up additional fields.
Enter the appropriate directory and file name and select "Append to existing file" so that each sequential command doesn't overwrite the previous.

One of the things I did way back when is list out all the commands I wanted to run in Notepad and get the format correct, then just copy-paste the whole thing into the Report command field. That was a lot easier than trying to type everything out in that tiny little space.

If you can, go to the Avaya Support site and download the latest Site Administration service pack - SP14 ? It's not much but if you are still only at the vanilla 6.0 then you may find some improvements.

You can open your vector file in MS Excel to have a nice view, with line numbers in column A and Commands in Column B.
