On a Panasonic TVA-50, I am able to trace all calls in and out of the system. I use this trace to verify if SMTP information is correct when a customer needs voicemail to email.

Does SysMonitor for Avaya do the same thing?

Can I trace an inbound call and watch as it hits the system, and then gets transfered to email?

I have been watching this screen now for some time but can not see where the voicemail transfer to email occurs, and if it is getting any errors?

You can se almost everything in Sysmon, you just need to enable the correct filters.
If you're using VMPro, there's a separate application, Dbgview.exe, for monitoring what's going on while the call is being handed over to the voicemail server.

There's very little information on these applications, that's how Avaya wants it.

Kind regards

Monitor should do this.

Embedded or VM Pro? VMPro logs would show any errors (if VM Pro)

Yes VMPro installed.

I just downloaded DBGview. Any specific filters to see what Voicemail to email transfer?

Dbgview is a bit different than Monitor, you can't pause it, so log to file.

Oh boy...
Panasonic is a bit easier to decipher.

There aren't any errors in the VMPro log. All I see is an AuditTrail?

Probably [smile]

But you get used to it.

Kind regards

That is because Panasonic forgot to build tracing tools. That makes reading the logs a lot easier indeed.
