Avaya Symposium 6.2 -1 displaying

We have a AVAYA symposium 6.2 system. We are having issues not being able to deacquire/reacquire sets. We are also having issues displaying the skillsets, thresholds, and scheduled events. In the phone sets and voiceports tab that allows you to acquires phonenes, instead of a check mark we only see -1. This is almost the same scenario in the skillsets, thresholds, and scheduled events. We have tried reinstalling the Active X controls. We are using version 8.0.0.0722 of CCMA Active X controls. We are using IE 8. Is there something I am missing or someone can recommend.
