Does anyone know where to find Avaya actual .mib files to monitor Avaya equipment. I can only find the .txt files but I need to upload the .mib file for my SNMP management platform.

Thanks!

Sorry, Actually what everones I can get my hands on. I really need the IP phones mibs, the G650 mibs and S8700 mibs. Need them for monitoring and for the trap reciever. Any help would be appreciated. I can seem to find them on Avaya website anywhere.

Thanks! The ones for the phones worked. They were actually txt. files but it seemed to accept it. I am however having a problem with the S8700 file. When you try to save as: it comes up as an .htm file and it is blowing up my application. I tryed to save it as a text file but it still blows it up. Does anyone actually have the mib for the 8700 that is working?

I copied the text from the s8700 URL into a text file and named it ".txt" and it seemed to work fine.

I also tried file/save as and saving it as a ".txt". that seemed to work too.

Make sure you have the correct MIB .. there appears to be one for 1.2, 1.3, 2.0, 3.0, and 3.1.

I found the problem! Avaya's mib kept blowing up my mib browser program. There is a line that needed to be commented out. the line before iso needed to have -- in front of it. Then it worked. Bellow is what it looks like after. This is a portion of the g3mib.asn1.txt file.

-- iso OBJECT IDENTIFIER ::= { 1 }
org OBJECT IDENTIFIER ::= { iso 3 }
dod OBJECT IDENTIFIER ::= { org 6 }
internet OBJECT IDENTIFIER ::= { dod 1 }
private OBJECT IDENTIFIER ::= { internet 4 }
enterprises OBJECT IDENTIFIER ::= { private 1 }

avaya OBJECT IDENTIFIER ::= { enterprises 6889 }
mibs OBJECT IDENTIFIER ::= { avaya 2 }
definity OBJECT IDENTIFIER ::= { mibs 8 }
g3-mib OBJECT IDENTIFIER ::= { definity 1 }
g3proxmib OBJECT IDENTIFIER ::= { definity 2 }

products OBJECT IDENTIFIER ::= { avaya 1 }
def-products OBJECT IDENTIFIER ::= { products 8 }
g3-products OBJECT IDENTIFIER ::= { def-products 1 }

After that is works great!

Thanks to all who responded!
