We have a Avaya IP office connected via A Ericson Telephone system .

When calls are made from Avaya Sip to Avay Sip all is working well.

when a call is made from a other PBX to the avaya it says "incompatible

When a call is made form Avaya Sip to other PBX the phone is ringing but at pickup it stops.

In the avaya the SIP URI is set to USER DATA there is no authetication and there is no login .

It looks like the RTP stream is not accepted errors are. 404 and 503

404 is not found. if using "use user data" then there should be a matching uri number or details in the user sip tab. you will see what is being sent in the trace.

ringing then stops - i assume you mean connection but no voice, does it then disconnect?

I would say check where the voice is coming from and the sip registration ip address. you will see this again in the trace.

Thanks for your reply,

I know the SIP tab contains the wright information.

And yes the avaya sends a Bye after picking up the phone and disconnects

The network is a test network, thats why there is no authentication URI number.

Very strange is the different behavior between the 2 PBX and the OK working to Mobile.

My main question is, is there a total agreement for implementing SIP into a PBX, or are there differences witch cause this kind of behavior.
