Ok.
On the sg5x side:
Got the ethernet0 and ethernet1 settings (public and private) done right, I can tell that much. I have the IP device's MAC address in and assigned an IP. 192.168.1.2
I have my tftp server IP in as well as the CLAN IP. These are all correct.
Users: This is where it's tricky for me. On the Canada unit he is using the default ip-phone-user. I am thinking that on the American side it has to be changed to a different, original name (I changed it to Lee-home) so there won't be 2 identical users coming into the sg5x, correct? I have the VSU address in, it's correct.
VPN setup is set to User VPN mode.
On the SG200 side:
Remote users are as follows. ip-phone-user(canada) lee-home(Atlanta). Both IKE's set for directory with split tunneling disabled.
Under VPN setup it is set for VPN gateway mode with One VPN titled Canada_IpPhones and the othe titled ATL-ip-phones. The settings for each are the same and I have ip-phone-user assigned to Canada_IpPhones and lee-home assigned to ATL-ip-phones. I have the local IP Groups set up for both VPN's and the rest of the settings are identical.
However, the Canada phone works but the aAtlanta phone does not. While I was experimenting last night, I let the ATL sg5x connect as ip-phone-user but as I feared it bumped the Canada users off when it connected.
I see no VPN on the VPN setup page on the ATL sg5x, and I do on the Canada sg5x. When I got the ATL sg5x to work as ip-phone-user the VPN appeared.
If this doesn't make any sense to you I'm sorry, trying to be as verbose as possible in detailing the steps I have taken. I get the feeling the problem I am having is somewhere in the users on the sg5x side and on the remote user/VPN setup on the SG200 side but for the life of me I can't figure out what the problem is. Thank you in advance for any and all asistance.
