avaya scc r9 new to dialing plan

just trying to see if someone can give me a good standard to run the dialing plan off to this is my home set i use for learning a screen shot would be excellent

There are a ton of options to this of course, and since you are trying to learn, I would recommend building the dial plan analysis yourself.


Here is an example from a switch:

All extensions are 4 digits, beginning with any number 1 through 8.
Dial Access Codes are all *something or #something - this means trunk access codes and feature access codes can start with these patterns.
9 was assigned as a FAC so that ARS works.

At my old job I kept a more conservative dial plan than most of our customers and didn't pre-assign extension ranges that I wasn't using. I'm not sure if there is a best practice here but as we all know, dialplans can be "tons of fun" when connecting systems together.
