Hi ...

I have IPOSE 11.1 and will configure SBCE to support remote Workplaces following the Avaya document using TLS.
I am using TCP Protocol on 46xxsettings.txt for J100 Series phones and don't want to change this because I have more than 500 phones on a different site.
I see through a document that the line for workplace on 46xxsettings is :

When I check TLS on IPO, Then re-autogenerate the 46xxsettings file, keep the SIP Controller list to use TCP for JSeries phones, and keep lines above using TLS.

Is this right and does this not affect the operations of the phones?

As in SIP controller list TLS is mentioned, I would guess that TLS is already enabled.

You can also add the wanted additional information in 46xxspecials.txt only for Workplace.

@derfloh: if I want to work as is on TCP Port for both internal & External, I will skip the certificate part, right?

Correct, TCP doesn’t need certificates but foreigners would be able to listen to your calls if they catch the packet stream.
