I have a problem with a intermittent one-way talk path via point to point T1 to remote site. It happens every 3rd to 4th call, the T1 is connected to a Adtran 3200 at each end. I can hear the call at the remote site but they can't hear me.

Any thoughts?

I am going to assume these are VOIp calls. I had an issue like this about 5 months ago and narrowed it down to a faulty MedPro card.

teleflash

list trace tac on the trunk access code for the tie line trunks.
make note of the member numbers on failed calls.

Does a trunk group need to be built for this type of set up. We have the pt to pt coming from the main switch to the remote(LSP) going directly into the Adrans and then the lan ports on the media gateways. It is intermittent....it happens on every 3rd or 4th call.

Thanks again for your help.

Your t1 provider would be needed to work with you if the stuff
below does not help.

telnet to the media-gateway and login

you can check the FW on the media-gateway
upgrade FW onm the media-gateway

show voip
reset voip v0
reset the media gateway

These may be service affecting for a minute but could resolve your issue.
