I'm having an awful time getting my "active Channel" link up on my clan board. Any suggestions?

Post your setup screens. We need to see both sides - what's setup in the Audix and how your CLAN and Comm Proc link is setup.

Node Names
Audix audix1 10.10.10.2
IP Clan 10.10.10.1
IP default 0.0.0.0

The current Audix is at a remote site, the remote site is going away and there will just be a local map 5. They are connected by a point to point T1.

"Processer Channel"

Proc Channel- 1
enable - y
appl.- audix
Mode- s
interface link - 1
channel- 5002
node - audix1
port - 0
local - 1
remote - 1
mach- 1

When I hit enter I get a message in ASA, " duplicate of this applacation type is not allowed".

I would check your ethernet speedduplex settings. If the Audix is directly connected via a crossover cable to the CLAN then 10/Half can work, if you are on a LAN switch, I would tend to lock both the Audix and CLAN to 100MB/Full, to do that you will need a TN799DP, and you need to set it to 100F, same in the audix.

My guess, you can't ping between the 2 devices, give it a try, verify you have IP connectivity.
