On the Avaya pcmcia card large I know how to set up the AA but when you assign selector codes to go to a specific extension how do you make it ring to more than one ext and then go to a certian VM?

I believe your referring to the Avaya Partner PC Voice mail.

You'll have to set up a calling group on the system. Default calling group 70 is for overhead paging. Set up calling group 2 (72) and assign the ext's to ring. Then point the selector code in the VM to ring a direct ext. - 72.

KILLBOX

Except that it won't go to a mailbox when transferring to a calling group. The transferred call will ring in the group until answered or abandoned. OR, you can purposely mis-program the "transfer return extension" setting for 78 and 79, to point back to themselves instead of Ext. 10. This will cause the transfer to a calling group to return to the VM port that sent it, but without mode codes. The VM will go to its fall back position of "Transferring Call to the Operator", send it to Ext. 10, and cover to 10's voice mail.
