I'm getting ready to sniff an Avaya solution. CM3.1.5 server to IPSI controlled port network.

What will the heartbeat look like on the capture? I know Avaya calls it a Packet Control Driver (PCD), and it's sent through TCP port 5010.

I'm looking for packet loss or network latency. I have verified all ports and endpoints are locked 100/Full.

Thanks

rtp(Ip voice) traffic is sent via the medpro board . there are commands to run from within the cm to check latency , wireshark on a hub connected to the network will really need to look at the medpro , also how many ipsi are on the setup you need to look at the gipsi(golden ipsi if there is more that one)
