Have a Avaya Partner phone system that has a Partner Voice Messaging card installed !
All calls answer immediately ! Incoming calls will answer for a while ? Then customer reports
the Auto attendant stopped answering calls ? ring no answer ?
I will reset phone system , power down back up ! and the auto attendant will start working again ?
this has happened several times ?

what would cause the Auto Attendant to all of sudden stop working ?

help is appreciated !

thanks Jimmy

My guess? You have more than Ext. 78 and 79 assigned to the VM Hunt group. It is a circular group, so the first time you call Intercom 777 or an incoming call is directed to Call Dist Group 7, it hits Ext. 78. Next time 79 (even if 78 is idle). Then some oddball extension number that got assigned to Hunt Group 7, and works its way around until it gets back to 78.
