MM 3.0 s3400s, Win MAS with MSS backend. This is NOT and exchange backend problem. We have an MSS.

Our email is on exchange and it was just moved from 2003 to 2007. Now people using the avaya outlook client cannot forward voicemails from the client.

This looks like a known issue caused by exchange 2007 changing how pointers are set for non standard file types (the message is a .ivm file). The threads I have seen on various forums have confused the issue with MM using the exchange backend.

I have tried the lastest client. Has anyone got this working on level 3.0 or 3.1 of MM?

I have had customers getting a "MapiExeceptionPropsDontMatch error". I'm not sure if that is similar to your problem. Supposedly the 3.1 OTC version 7.1.630.7 -OTC9 was going to fix that error.

Avaya won't do anything for MM 3.0 and Exchange 2007 per the PSN# 1442U . I haven't tried this but maybe a workaround would be to have an IMAP folder as well and use that to forward messages when necessary.

Yes, that's the same error. Thanks for the PSN Chuck. That documents the fact that any problems found will not be fixed.
