Ok this might be a nOOb question...

I received my Plantronics headset with DA45 audio decoder.
Right now, all sound is going through the headset.

However, I want to let the ringing tone, when there is an incomming call, play from the speaker instead of the headset, so that I don't have to wear the damn thing all day.

Up until now, I haven't had any luck to accomplish this. In the avaya X-one I can't define the PC ringing device.

What I can do is, is put playback/recording on the pc to the soundcard, and playback/recording in the Avaya X-one soft to DA45 device... The ofcourse incomming ringtone will be played by the pc speaker... But also every other sound...

So I want to be able to use ALL sound on the headset, except the ringing tone.. that should be on the speaker..

Anyone had the same issue, and a solution to this?

I'm running Windows XP
