I have the above phone which when I connect via a BT router to my office works fine
But when I use another non BT router it connects to the system. It will also ring when the office rings but when I answer the call I cannot hear anything?
Any help we be most appreciated
Regards
Philip

My recollection is a port blocked, or not properly defined. I believe under the Extension > Voip tab there is also a option for "allow direct media path". Sometimes checking or unchecking this may help. not 100% sure but worth a shot. Also have seen references to H323 Transformations being off. Hope this helps!

Sounds like ports blocked on the router or the router does not support h323.

Some lower end, cheapo routers do not handle h323 (voip) properly. You wil need to make sure that you have a router that supports h323 transformations and the correct ports are open.
