I seem to be hitting a small snag as of recent with Avaya ERS 4500 series switches. When they kick over to aux power the PoE drops long enough to have the Avaya IP phones hanging from them reboot.

Crawling through the Avaya documentation I found there was a bug that was fixed in 5.6.2 which we've applied to switches accordingly that are at least HW revision 12, and I'm good to go with those ones. However, I have a few switches sitting at lower hardware revisions that this will not work on.

ERS 4500, PoE, Power failover: ERS 4500-PWR models (4526T-PWR, 4550T-PWR,
4524GT-PWR, 4526GTX-PWR, 4548GT-PWR) with Hardware revision 12 or later will now
correctly maintain PoE when switching to redundant power when the PoE firmware
4500_PoE_400b15.img is loaded on the units. Note: this firmware should not be loaded on to
ERS 4500-PWR+, ERS 4800-PWR+ or ERS 4500-PWR with Hardware revision lower than
HW revision 12.

The switch I'm working on is a 4524GT-PWR at revision 6. Is there a known fix for them? I apologize if I'm missing something obvious. Programming them is one thing, but making sure I have everything in order when it comes to updating and patching them is another. As I would prefer to not render the switch useless by not following through on this process correctly.
